The Valley, South Bay, and outer LA County are usually 2 business days. Prehung-assembled stock units take 1–3 business days to build, then ship. Custom doors run 4–8 weeks before shipping.
Do you have a showroom in LA?
No — we don't run a showroom. We keep prices lower by skipping retail overhead. Browse the full catalog online (1,300+ doors with high-resolution photos and detailed specs), pick by phone, or arrange to view samples. For tactile confirmation on wood species or finishes, we can ship samples or arrange a visit to our San Dimas warehouse.
Do you offer installation?
We don't install in-house — we partner with professional door installers we trust across Los Angeles and Orange County. We'll connect you with the right installer for your project. Our prehung units arrive ready to drop in — install time is typically 1–2 hours per door for an experienced carpenter.
Can a contractor or designer open a wholesale account?
Yes. Send a copy of your contractor's license or designer credentials to info@thedoorfather.com with your business details. Volume pricing kicks in on multi-door orders. We also offer net-30 terms for established accounts after the first paid order.
Do you deliver to hard-to-access addresses (Hollywood Hills, Malibu, Mulholland)?
Yes. Our delivery partners run trucks across all of LA County. For tight access (steep driveways, narrow streets, gated communities, addresses requiring smaller trucks) let us know during ordering — we'll route the right vehicle and confirm delivery details with you in advance.
